A Sneak Peak

Mom let me show off a Birthday decoration today.  She has been working really hard trying to finish up everything she will need for my big day.  Pretty cute huh!?

Playing In The Dryer

Mommy was trying to get some dishes done today and I wouldn't get out of her hair.  She put me in the dryer and believe it or not it kept me occupied for almost half an hour.  I talked to the dryer and even licked it.  I told it how much I appreciated my soft fluffy clothes and caressed it like it was my new best friend.  Mommy was keeping a close eye on me so that I didn't fall of course.  If you know the layout of our kitchen/laundry room you know it would probably take her half a step to catch me if I bailed.

Tooth #6

Daddy spied my new tooth.  Add another top lefty to the pile!

Maverick

We are pet sitting Maverick, Grandma & Grandpa Castellani's pooch, for a week.  He is such a good dog.  Very easy going, mellow and loves kids.   I have a feeling after this week, it will be hard to give him back, (He's camera shy!)

Pretty In Plaid

In these pictures I am happy clapper but you would never guess what I was doing this morning.  Snapping my fingers!  Mommy looked at me dumbfounded.  I don't think it is normal for babies my age to practice "finger snapping", especially without being taught.

Farmers Market

Mommy, Daddy, Nana, and I visited the Vancouver Farmers Market today.  It just happened to be it's birthday!  It was very crowded but we still had tons of fun.

New Words

I have been pointing out Dog and Cat for a while now and within the last couple days I have been saying the words too.  It usually comes out "Dod" and "Dat" but that is just how I roll.  I can also point to your nose and mouth.  
Check me out!  I was pointing to the "Dat's" nose.

Hair Bows

As of today, I have enough hair to keep a small clip in place.  Yay for hair!

A Playdate In The Park

Mommy and I met Holly, Ahna and some of their family friends for a play date at Dakota Memorial Park in Vancouver. We had a wonderful time even though it was very hot outside.

A Weekend Full Of Fun!

My fear of gum was conquered, I started shaking my head no, and enjoyed my first boat ride (I was so tired I fell asleep) all in the same weekend!  We camped out on the Columbia River with a ton of great company.   To name a few, Aunt Kimmee, Uncle Erik, Masen, Erla, Mike, Marissa, Ellie, Becky, and Tammy were all there.   Here are a few pictures from our trip. It was such a blast!

One of my top right teeth came in and Mommy didn't even realize it.  I am such a happy teether!

The Face Of Chilephobia

Chilephobia-  The fear of Bubble Gum.
I am officially scared to death of gum.  Yes, that's right, bubble gum.  Mommy blew one bubble and it just went down hill from there.  I started screaming and shaking uncontrollably.  I think Mommy realized I was upset because she scooped me up and cuddled me until I felt better.  I love it when she does that.  Hopefully,  someday I will get over my phobia.

Clark County Fair 2010

I went to the fair today!  I entered a "Cutest Baby" contest with Ahna.  Preslie was there too!  I didn't win the contest but received  many compliments.   Ahna took 3rd place and Preslie took 1st. I don't know If I have told you but I have some super cute friends and family. We were surrounded by over a hundred cuties!  Mom was worried that I might get a complex from not placing in the contest so she bought me a pretty pink crown at one of the booths.  She wanted to make sure I understood that I will always be her beautiful princess, win or lose and nobody could ever be cuter.  After all, she is right.  We strolled around and visited the 4-H animals before leaving.  I preferred the goats but mostly because the pigs were sleeping.  After an exhausting 6 hours without a nap I passed out right before  making it to the car.

More Summer Fun!

I played in the pool again today.  I hope the sun never goes away!
