Oregon Zoo Lights

We met up with my Second Cousin Amber and her girls, Caitlin and Sarah for a trip to the zoo.  Every year the Oregon Zoo puts a display of over a million lights for the holidays.  They serve hot cocoa, give train rides, and allow you to view animal exhibits at night while dazzled by colorful Christmas lights.  We had a wonderful time and hope to join them again next year.  My favorite part was the choo choo train!

Rash

Mommy and Daddy had to take me to urgent care today.  I woke up from my nap covered in a full body rash.  My pediatrician couldn't find anything wrong with me.  I had no other symptoms.  They decided it was probably from a cold virus that had been going around.  The rash is gone now but it left several blisters on my feet.  Very weird.  Mommy tried taking a picture of me at urgent care but you couldn't even tell I had a rash because the camera flash paled my skin out.  Instead, she improvised and made up her own reenactment.  Haha.

What's new:  Mommy just taught me how to sing "Jingle Bells".  I belt it out like a champ!  I just had my first pony ride and loved every minute of it.  I am a very good eater but up until this past week I wouldn't touch hamburger.  Now I can't get enough of it.   I love "aminals".

Library Fun With Ahna

Our Mommy's took us to the new Vancouver Public Library today.  They have a a great kids area packed with all sorts of fun.  Mommy applied for a new library card and I checked out 3 books.  I can't wait to go back again soon.

Happy Thanksgiving

What's new:  I love "grabey" on my mashed potatoes.  It is "dawicious".  I am saying up to 6 word sentences now.  One of these days I will be diaper free.  I have been doing much better on my own without Mommy or Daddy pressuring me to use the potty.  Instead I am taking the initiative to go all by myself.

Parker's Monster Mash

I had my first KIDS ONLY party tonight.  It was a monster themed birthday party for Parker.  Mommy was a bit uneasy when leaving and apparently she had every right to be.  Forty-five minutes after leaving she got "the call".  I was crying for Mommy and Brandie tried everything she could to make me feel better but nothing worked.  Mommy brought Daddy back to the party and decided after having cupcakes it was time to go.  I didn't really want to play with all the other kids.  I must have been overwhelmed with everything.  Maybe next year I will be more confident. 

What's new:  I am obsessed with Mickey Mouse Club House.  I know the intro to every episode by heart.  I can't say "marbles", instead I say "margles".  I can tell you my full name and how old I am.  I am learning how to do chores like, emptying the bathroom garbage and helping Mommy dry dishes and swap laundry.  I can not only do a perfect saumersault but can also do a bridge.  Mommy and Daddy think it is pretty amazing.  I am jumping a lot, jumping over things, jumping off of things and even galloping.

I had just finished my bath, stood up for Mommy to wrap my towel around me and missed the no-slip mat.  It only took us 1 hour to get in and out of the emergency room on a Saturday night.  3 stitches total.
