Samantha Buckley, my second cousin, became a Garcia today.  What a beautiful bride!

Great-Grandma Ann's 88th Birthday

We celebrated Great-Grandma Ann's 88th Birthday today.  What a milestone!  This is very impressive considering that she has been through several bouts of cancer in her life time.  She had two different types of skin cancer, just within the last few months.  Of course, she won't let that get her down!  She is a gentle soul and loves nothing more than to play with me and spoil me rotten.  I can't tell you how many times she has picked me up even though I am waaaay too heavy for her.  Mom dressed me up (now covered by my sweatshirt) and even did something new with my hair just for her.  Birthdays are the best!  Thank you for turning another year older Great-Grandma Ann.  XOXO

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Today we noticed our garden that we planted mid-March is doing more than just take up space.  The green beans, sweet peas, lettuce, tomatoes, and blue berries are all starting to take off and grow.  Hopefully the spinach and peppers will catch up soon.  I can't wait until we can pick 'em!

Kortnee's Middle School Graduation

What's new:  My canines are busting out.  I have been teething like crazy.

Portland Rose Parade

We met the Anderson's in downtown Portland for the 2011 Portland Rose Parade. Even though I was pretty tired, I rode in my wagon, Mommy bought me a purple monkey, Uncle Erik chased me all over the place with tickles, Aunt Kimmee helped me touch a horse, Masen used sidewalk chalk and created me a cool picture and Marti pumped me full of cookies. What more could I ask for? Oh, and the parade we beautiful!

Multnomah Falls

Just Keep Swimming, Just Keep Swimming...

What's new:  I can swim all by myself now as long as I have my water wings on.  I still love jumping in the water and holding my breath until I bobble back up.  Nana just taught me how to blow bubbles in the water with my mouth.  Fun!

Hockinson Parade

We went to the Hockinson parade with Holly, Bippe, and Ahna today.  It was very warm but a lot of fun!
